FAITH OR FEAR (USA/NJ)

FAITH OR FEAR, formed in 1982, is a Bay Area Thrash band from Richland, New Jersey. The band had operated as a covers act until 1986 when the experience of witnessing an ANVIL BITCH show in Philadelphia inspired the move over to original material. FAITH OR FEAR first demoed in 1986 with a three song effort. The four track 'Demo Of Fear' cassette followed that same year. A third demo tape, 'Dehumanize', arrived in 1988, from which the title track duly appeared on Metal Blade's 'Metal Massacre IX' compilation album. The solitary 1989 Combat album 'Punishment Area', released by German label Century Media Records.
